To be repeated thousands of years later with buffalo
Mysterious walls built on the arid lands of the
Middle
East
seem to have played a role in the slaughter of whole herds of wild gazelles by prehistoric tribes of herder-farmers, possibly leading to the animal's extinction in those herders' areas.
